Euro Declines Versus Dollar, Yen Amid European Funding Concerns

Jan. 5 (Bloomberg) -- The euro weakened against its U.S. and Japanese counterparts on concern Europe’s sovereign borrowers and banks will struggle to raise funds.

The common currency slid 0.2 percent to $1.2921 and 99.13 yen at 10:29 a.m. in Tokyo from yesterday’s close in New York.
