Argentina Pressures Stores to Cut Sales of Imports, Infobae Says

Jan. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Argentina’s government is pressuring Carrefour SA, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and local supermarkets to sell fewer imported products, reported, citing unidentified company officials.

Interior Commerce Secretary Guillermo Moreno yesterday urged supermarket representatives to limit purchases from abroad and sell more locally produced goods, the online news service said.
