Jan. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Argentine automobile production rose 16 percent last year from 2010 to 828,771 units, while sales rose 27 percent, the country’s Automaker Association said.
Exports in 2011 rose 13 percent from the previous year, according to the statement.
Last month output fell 21 percent from December 2010, while sales rose 19 percent in the same period. Argentine auto exports fell by 11 percent in December from a year earlier, the group said.
