Jan. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Feature film production in the Los Angeles area declined 26 percent in the final three months of 2011 from a year earlier, the nonprofit group FilmL.A. said.
TV production fell 11 percent in the quarter, led by declining situation comedy and drama production, the group said in an e-mailed statement today. The region lost 10 one-hour drama series to other states, notably New York, FilmL.A. said.
