Hungary Credit Risk Rises to Record High on IMF-EU Aid Delay

Jan. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Hungary’s cost of insuring against default with credit-default swaps rose to a record high 651 basis points from 635 basis points on Dec. 30, data provider CMA said.

The European Commission said today it currently has no plans to resume aid talks with Hungary. Hungary requested European Union and International Monetary Fund assistance in November.
