Jan. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The Turkish central bank is estimated to have sold between $300 and $400 million, Tufan Comert, strategist at Garanti Securities, said by telephone.
The bank sold dollars for liras in the Istanbul market today for a second day, two traders with knowledge of the sales said on condition of anonymity.
