Jan. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority is seeking $770 million to improve operations on the line it runs between the two countries, Managing Director Akashambatwa Mbikusita-Lewanika said.
The two countries are expected to contribute equally to the budget, Mbikusita-Lewanika said today in an e-mailed statement from its headquarters in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s commercial capital.
