Jan. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the close of trading.
The Lima General Index gained for a second day, rising 0.5 percent to 19,579.41. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index gained 0.1 percent to 2,526.61.
Miners advanced after metals advanced in London, said Victor Llanos, an analyst at Inversion & Desarrollo SAB.
Rio Cristal Resources Corp. (RCZ PE), a Canadian exploration company, rose 11 percent to 10 cents. Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian exploration company, climbed 5.6 percent to 38 cents. Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), the Canadian mining exploration company with operations in Peru, gained 2.1 percent to 97 cents. Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO PE), a gold producer, rose 1 percent to $3.17.
