Jan. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Prices in Istanbul, Turkey’s biggest city, rose 1.1 percent in December from the previous month, the Chamber of Commerce said.

Prices increased an annual 9 percent, the chamber said in a statement published today.

Turkey’s state statistics agency is to announce nationwide inflation data for December on Jan. 5.
