Dec. 30 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the close of trading.

The Lima General Index advanced 0.5 percent to 19,473.31. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index gained 1 percent to 2,524.45.

Candente Copper Corporation (DNT PE) rose 4.4 percent to 95 cents. The copper exploration company rose in line with the price of copper on speculation that U.S. growth will buoy metals demand as the economy slows in China.

Sociedad Minera El Brocal SA (BROCALC1 PE) gained 1.1 percent to 48 soles. The zinc miner rose for a second day after the Lima exchange announced it will enter the bourse’s Selective index.
