Dec. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Samsung Electronics Co. and Taihan Electric Wire Co. will build a fiber-optic and Intranet network in Mali to help improve government communications, the West African state said.
The project will be funded with a 16.3 billion-CFA-franc ($32.1 million) loan from Korea’s Economic Development Cooperation Fund, the government said in a statement yesterday in Bamako, the capital.
