Dec. 29 (Bloomberg) -- The Australian and New Zealand dollars erased earlier losses versus their U.S. counterpart.
The so-called Aussie traded at $1.0095 at 2:08 p.m. in Sydney from $1.0094 yesterday in New York after earlier dropping as low as $1.0044. New Zealand’s currency fetched 76.97 U.S. cents from 76.89 cents yesterday. It earlier slid to 76.54 cents.
