Acron May Receive VEB Financing for $2.82 Billion Potash Project

Dec. 28 (Bloomberg) -- VEB, Russia’s state development bank, may decide tomorrow on helping to fund OAO Acron’s $2.82 billion potash project, the government said.

Acron plans to produce 2 million metric tons of potash a year at the Talitsky project, the government said said today in an e-mailed statement. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin chairs the VEB supervisory board.
