Dec. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine grain exports reached 8.1 million metric tons since the marketing year started on July 1, Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported, citing Serhiy Kvasha, head of the agriculture markets department at the Agriculture Ministry.
About 3.8 million tons of corn and 2.3 million tons of wheat were exported, according to the Kiev-based newswire, which did not provide a breakdown of the other exports for the year- to-date.
About 220,000 tons of milling wheat was shipped in November, the newswire reported.
