Dec. 21 (Bloomberg) -- The New Zealand and Australian dollars extended gains from yesterday as Asian stocks rallied, supporting demand for higher-yielding assets.
The so-called kiwi climbed 0.2 percent to 76.96 U.S. cents as of 11:14 a.m. in Sydney. The Aussie added 0.1 percent to $1.0094. The MSCI Asia Pacific Index rose 1.1 percent.
