Dec. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Pavel Maslovskiy, a co-founder of gold mining company Petropavlovsk Plc, will resign as a non- executive director of IRC Ltd., a Hong-Kong traded iron-ore producer, to become a senator in Russia’s upper house of parliament, the Federation Council.
Maslovskiy will be made an emeritus director and be allowed to advise the board without the right to vote, IRC said today in an e-mailed statement. He was nominated to serve as a senator after being elected to the Amur regional parliament on Dec. 4.
