Dec. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Christmas retail sales in Germany this year may match or slightly exceed last year’s levels, Passauer Neue Presse reported, citing an interview with Stefan Genth, head of the country’s HDE retailer association.
Last year, sales in November and December totaled 76.8 billion euros ($100 billion) and revenue may rise 1.5 percent in the same period of 2011, Genth told the newspaper.
