U.K. Regulator Investigating Pwc Over Barclays Capital Audit

Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- A U.K. accounting regulator said it is investigating PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP audits of Barclays Capital Securities Ltd. in relation to U.K. to client-money separation rules.

The Accountancy and Actuarial Discipline Board said it opened the investigation in relation to PwC’s role in reporting to the Financial Services Authority on the firm’s compliance with client-asset rules.
