Telekom Malaysia to Lift Alcatel From Tendering Ban From Jan. 4

Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Telekom Malaysia Bhd., Malaysia’s biggest fixed-line phone operator, said it will lift its year- long ban on Alcatel-Lucent participating in its tenders from Jan. 4.
“Telekom is satisfied with the compliance program instituted by Alcatel-Lucent and believes it has implemented clear and enforceable policies and measures to prevent a recurrence of any improper acts,” the Kuala Lumpur-based company said in an exchange filing today. Axiata Group Bhd. also lifted its ban.
