Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Italian investment fund F2i said its 385 million-euro bid to buy a 29.8 percent stake in Milan airport operator SEA SpA had been accepted by the Milan government.
F2i said in an e-mailed statement that the purchase will reinforce its presence in the airport management industry after acquiring the Naples international airport in 2010. SEA operates Milan’s Linate and Malpensa Airports, which served 27 million passengers in 2010.
Merrill Lynch & Co., UniCredit SpA and Banca IMI SpA advices F2i on the purchase.
