PG&E Gets Approval to Buy Power From Sempra Nevada Solar Project

Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- PG&E Corp. received approval from California regulators to buy electricity from a 150-megawatt solar energy plant in Nevada.

Construction of the Copper Mountain Solar 2 project will begin in Boulder City this year, San Diego-based Sempra Energy, the plant’s owner, said in a statement. The California Public Utilities Commission approved the 25-year contract in a meeting today.
