Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Gazprom, Russia’s natural-gas export monopoly, agreed to increase planned purchases of the fuel from Azerbaijan next year to 3 billion cubic meters.

Gazprom Chief Executive Officer Alexey Miller met in Moscow today with Rovnaq Abdullayev, his counterpart at the State Oil Co. of Azerbaijan, also know as Socar, the Russian gas producer said today in an e-mailed statement.
