Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Oil rose as much as 33 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $94.20 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 2:26 p.m. Sydney time. The contract earlier slid as much as 0.5 percent and is down 5.2 percent since Dec. 9, the second consecutive weekly decline and the biggest since the period ended Sept. 23.
