Cariverona Urges UniCredit to Analyze Reasons for Share Sale

Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- UniCredit SpA investor Fondazione Cariverona, which owns 4.2 percent of the bank, called for a “serious analysis” of the causes that forced the bank to raise capital on the market. A representative of the foundation, who didn’t immediately identify himself, made the comments at today’s investor meeting in Rome. Cariverona will vote in favor of the bank’s planned stock sale, the official said.
