Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- The Serbian unit of Societe Generale SA will receive a 160 million euro ($209 million) loan package from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for lending to companies, the London-based EBRD said today in an e- mailed statement.
The facility includes a 150 million-euro loan designed to support Societe Generale Srbija’s growth strategy in the next three years, the EBRD said. A further 10 million-euro credit line will go toward increasing the competitiveness of small- and medium-sized businesses, according to the development bank.
