Kazakhstan to Raise Uranium Output to 21,346 Tons Next Year

Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Kazakhstan plans to increase uranium production to 21,346 metric tons next year, said Kazatomprom, the state nuclear company.
Kazatomprom’s net income is expected to rise to 77 billion tenge ($520 million) this year, the Astana-based company said in a statement e-mailed today.
The central Asian nation plans to raise output to 19,900 tons this year, the company said in September.
