Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Luxembourg’s Jean-Claude Juncker, who leads the group of euro-area finance ministers, said a collapse of the euro would place European unification at risk.
“If the euro falls -- and it won’t -- then the entire European unification project is at risk in its substance and in its essence,” Juncker said in the Luxembourg Parliament today.
“I’m fundamentally convinced that if we don’t manage in the coming years to make it sustainable in the future, the entire European unification will crumble again into pieces.”
