Holiday Retail Online Spending Rises 15 Percent to $26.8 Billion

Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Online retail spending rose 15 percent to $26.8 billion in the holiday season through Dec. 12, according to ComScore Inc., a sign more consumers are taking advantage of discounts available through e-commerce providers.

Spending rose to a record $6.1 billion in the most recent week, Reston, Virginia-based ComScore said today in a statement on its website.
