Freeport Cuts Copper, Gold Sales Forecast After Grasberg Strike

Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. said today in a statement it cut its fourth-quarter sales forecast to about 800 million pounds of copper and 105,000 ounces of gold.

Freeport said Oct. 19 that fourth-quarter sales were estimated at 915 million pounds of copper and 305,000 ounces of gold.
