Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Crude rose as much as 0.5 percent to $95.40 a barrel in New York. Futures for January delivery traded at $95.37 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 11:22 a.m. in Singapore.
Brent oil for January settlement gained 0.9 percent today after falling $4.48 yesterday to $105.02 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. The contract expires today.
