Turkish Lira Rebounds From Biggest Decline in Three Weeks

December 13, 2011

Dec. 13 (Bloomberg) -- The lira strengthened against the dollar, rebounding from the biggest decline in three weeks yesterday.

Turkey’s currency gained 0.2 percent to 1.866 per dollar at 9:53 a.m. in Istanbul.

The lira slumped 1.5 percent yesterday, the biggest one-day drop since Nov. 21, on concern Europe’s debt crisis will damp growth.
