Dec. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Slovak inflation accelerated in November to 4.6 percent, a three-year high, from 4.4 percent in the previous month, driven by food and transportation prices.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices advanced 0.5 percent after rising 0.2 percent in October, the Bratislava, Slovakia- based statistics office said on its website today. The headline rate compares with a median estimate of 3 economists for 4.5 percent.
Rising the most were prices of transportation, which gained 4.3 percent, followed by food prices, which added 0.5 percent.
