Fitch Cuts Brazil 2011 GDP Growth Forecast to 2.8% From 3.5%

Dec. 13 (Bloomberg) -- The outlook for Brazilian economic growth in 2011 was cut by Fitch Ratings.

Gross domestic product in Brazil, Latin America’s largest economy, will expand 2.8 percent, down from a previous estimate of 3.5 percent, Fitch said today in a statement. In 2012, Fitch forecasts growth that’s “below potential” at 3.2 percent.
