Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Rosneft, Russia’s biggest oil producer, finished the construction of a gasoline unit at its Achinsk refinery that will improve fuel quality.
The unit, which makes components for high-octane gasoline, can produce 2 million metric tons a year, Moscow-based Rosneft said today in a statement on its website. It cost 1.27 billion rubles ($40 million).
The Achinsk plant in western Siberia will process about 7.5 million tons of crude, or 151,000 barrels a day, in 2011, according to the statement.
