Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 1:26 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index fell 1.4 percent to 19,709.71. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index dropped 2 percent to 2,514.65.
Mining shares sagged as U.S. stocks and metals declined in London, said Daniel Romero, an analyst at Lima-based investment fund NC&F Inversiones SA.
Rio Cristal Resources Corp. (RCZ PE), a Canadian exploration company, dropped 9.1 percent to 10 cents. Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian exploration company, fell 5.4 percent to $1.05. Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO PE), a Canadian company with a mine in Peru, declined 3.1 percent to $3.13. Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, fell 2.6 percent to 38 cents.
Refiners dropped after crude fell for the third day in four in New York.
Maple Energy Plc (MPLE PE), the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, declined 2.7 percent to $1.08. Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Spain’s Repsol YPF SA known as Relapasa, slid 2.2 percent to 89 centimos.
