Oil-Tanker Demand Climbs in Persian Gulf, Marex Spectron Says

Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Demand for oil tankers to load 2 million-barrel cargoes of crude at Persian Gulf ports is accelerating, said Marex Spectron Group.

Oil companies and traders booked nine vessels yesterday, the commodity-derivatives broker’s Singapore-based freight unit said by e-mail today. Bookings averaged about 122 a month in the year to November, its data show.
