Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- An explosion at the Ghadir steel plant in central Iran killed seven people and injured 12 others, the state-run Mehr news agency reported, citing Azizollah Seifi, the province’s governor.
The incident occurred at 9:15 p.m. local time yesterday evening in Yazd province, Seifi told Mehr today, adding that some of those killed in the incident were foreign nationals. An investigation into the explosion is underway, he said.
