Brian Kim Offered Six to 18 Year Sentence for Ponzi Scheme Plea

Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Brian Kim, the former hedge-fund manager at Liquid Capital Management LLC accused of running a $6 million Ponzi scheme, was offered a prison term of six to 18 years by Manhattan prosecutors.

Kim hasn’t decided whether to accept the offer in exchange for a guilty plea, a lawyer said.
