Suzano May Pay Down 635 Million Reais of Local Bonds, CEO Says

Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Suzano Papel e Celulose SA, a Brazilian paper and pulp producer, may renegotiate debt covenants on local bonds or pay down 635 million reais worth of the securities, Chief Executive Officer Antonio Maciel Neto said in Sao Paulo today.

The company’s plan to sell assets may reduce net debt to as low as 3.5 times earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or Ebitda, he said.
