Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:10 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index was little changed at 19,985.96. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index gained 0.9 percent to 2,565.75.
Mining stocks declined after copper and zinc fell this week in New York and London, said Jorge Ramirez, a trader at Lima- based brokerage Coril SAB.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian mining exploration company with operations in Peru, dropped 4.3 percent to $1.11. Cia. Minera Milpo (MILPOC1 PE), a zinc and silver producer controlled by Sao Paulo-based Votorantim Metais Ltda., fell 1.4 percent to 4.83 soles. Sociedad Minera El Brocal SAA (BROCALC1 PE), a zinc and silver producer, declined 0.5 percent to 45.01 soles.
Minera IRL Ltd. (MIRL PE), a U.K. minerals explorer with a gold mine in Peru, jumped 5.4 percent to $1.18, a two-month high, after gold futures advanced in New York today.
