Massey Miners Intimidated by Management Before Blast, U.S. Says

Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Massey Energy Co., which operated the West Virginia coal mine where 29 miners died in an April 2010 explosion, concealed hazardous conditions, failed to perform required examinations and intimidated employees, according to a U.S. Labor Department investigation.

The Mine Safety and Health Administration issued the report on the probe on its website today.
