German 10-Year Yield Falls Below 2%, First Time Since Nov. 23

Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- German government bonds opened higher, sending the yield on 10-year bunds to less than 2 percent for the first time since Nov. 23.

The rate on the securities dropped two basis points to 1.998 percent at 7:03 a.m. London time.

Two-year notes were little changed with the yield at 0.29 percent. It reached a record low 0.265 percent yesterday.
