Canadian-Libyan Venture Boosts Oil Output to 42,000 Barrels

Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Harouge Oil Operations, a Canadian- Libyan joint venture, increased crude production to about 42,000 barrels a day on Nov. 30 after boosting output from the Ghani field, Libya’s state-run National Oil Corp. said on its website.

The venture between Libya’s National Oil and Suncor Energy Inc.’s PetroCanada is preparing to resume production from Al Jufra and En Naga fields, the Tripoli-based company, known as NOC, said, without giving a timeframe.
