Burundi to Get 44.5 Million Euros Budget Support From Belgium

Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Burundi will receive 44.5 million euros ($60 million) in budget support from the Belgian government next year, said Joseph Ndayikeza, a spokesman for the East African nation’s Finance Ministry.

The funds will be used to help livestock, justice and health projects, Ndayikeza said in a phone interview today from Bujumbura, the capital.
