Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Taiwan trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are at 9:23 a.m. local time in Taipei trading.
The Taiex Index fell 1 percent to 7,027.20, declining for a third day.
Catcher Technology Co. (2474 TT), a casing maker, gained 3.3 percent to NT$141.50, set for the biggest advance since Nov. 29, after November sales tripled from a year earlier to NT$1.9 billion ($62.9 million).
Nanya Technology Corp. (2408 TT), a chipmaker, sank 6.3 percent to NT$2.1 after November sales dropped 39 percent from a year earlier to NT$2.42 billion.
Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. (2609 TT) retreated 1.3 percent to NT$11.45. Taiwan’s second-biggest shipping line by market value was rated “underperform” in new coverage at Jefferies & Co.
