Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 1:33 p.m. in Santiago.
The Ipsa index fell 0.2 percent to 4,092.35. The MSCI Chile index rose gained 0.2 percent to 2,240.53.
Banco Santander Chile (BSAN CC) rose 1.5 percent to 32.78 pesos. Spain’s Banco Santander SA will end today the book building process for the sale of a 7.8 percent stake in Santander Chile, the country’s largest lender.
Cia. Sudamericana de Vapores SA (VAPORES CC) retreated 1.7 percent to 116 pesos. Latin America’s largest container shipping company valued its port services unit Sudamericana Agencias Aereas & Maritimas SA at $520 million, according to a statement posted yesterday on the company’s website. CSAV plans to combine its unit with Royal Boskalis Westminster NV’s SMIT unit to create a $990 million joint venture.
Lan Airlines SA (LAN CC) advanced 1 percent to 12,294 pesos, its second day of gains. An attorney at Brazil’s antitrust regulator Cade said yesterday the entity should approve Lan’s takeover of Tam SA without restrictions.
