U.S. Said to Seize 150 Names of Sites Selling Counterfeit Goods

Nov. 28 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. federal courts ordered the seizure of 150 domain names for websites alleged by authorities to have sold counterfeit goods in violation of copyright and other intellectual property laws, said a law enforcement official who wasn’t authorized to discuss the matter.

An announcement scheduled for today is timed to coincide with the “Cyber Monday” online shopping day.
