Nov. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Italy’s 5 percent bond maturing in March 2022 pared a drop as the nation sold 7.5 billion euros of debt maturing in 2014, 2020 and 2022.
The yield on the 2022 bond was two basis points higher at 7.54 percent at 10:27 a.m. London time. It climbed to as high as 7.65 percent before the debt sale.
The nation sold 2.5 billion euros of 2022 bonds. It auctioned the securities at an average yield of 7.56 percent, up from 6.06 percent at the last sale in October.
