Cnooc Says Yang Hua Resigns as Chief Executive Officer

Nov. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Cnooc Ltd. appointed Li Fanrong as chief executive officer, according to a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange. Cnooc said Yang Hua resigned as CEO because his position as president of China National Offshore Oil Corp. requires more time, the statement said.

Yang was redesignated to non-executive director of the company, according to the statement.
