Yandex Acquires SPB Software Developer to Expand Mobile Products

Nov. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Yandex NV, operator of Russia’s most popular Internet search engine, said it acquired developer SPB Software to expand mobile products and the use of its search capabilities on mobile devices.
“Mobile is a vital part of our growth strategy,” Yandex Chief Executive Officer Arkady Volozh said today in a statement. The price wasn’t disclosed.
